I started drawing tonight on a piece of paper five and a
half inches square. It's basically a backwards drawing: inking in the black
spaces creates the white lines. Right now, it looks like a collection of black
shapes on a white background, but once it's done, it'll be a latticework of
white lines against a black background. Nothing is but what is not.
