I had set out acrylics for the kids to paint some ceramic
medallions they had made the last time they were here. Just before we went to
clean up, I grabbed a roller and ran it over the leftover puddles of color in
the mixing pan, then rolled out a couple parallel segments on heavy white
paper. Boom! Sometimes things just fall into place:
